Perl Scripts and Modules

Herae are some simple but useful pers scripts. All of them are distributed under the GNU General Public License. It means that the source code is freely-distributed and available to the general public.

Here are the sources in html format with highlighted syntax for quick browsing. If you wish to download and try any of the scripts, download the corresponding zip archive of the script.

For more information about the scripts please see the documentation included in the source. Some scripts also have the -h option for help

make_perl_scr

Creates the skeleton of a new perl script including option parser and documentation/help template

Tool for batch files renaming using regular expressions

csv2html

A simple but useful script for generating HTML pages based on a template and a CSV (Comma Separated Value) file

- csv2html.pl - Main script. requires csv_split.pm module
- csv_split.pm - Splits lines of CSV files

ro_num.pm

One of my very early Perl scripts:
